Asjia was a caladaran mentalist of some great renown who worked tirelessly throughout his long life to bring peace to the shattered and divided Broken Lands east of Earendam's reach. Largely successful, he met defeat only at the hands of a kankoran barbarian, who hewed Asjia in twain with one fell stroke. The telling of this tale in song evokes some bit of chaotic magic that is disruptive to the mental powers of psionicists.
